Dean Busk is currently a Partner in BFR (“build-for-rent”) division for Capital Asset Management. Since joining Capital Asset Management (“CAM”), he has provided the real-world experience in this market, offering strong relationships with equity and debt partners. He also provides research analysis, input, and recommendations to the CAM development team.

In 2015, he was a principle of the first BFR community in Mesa, Arizona, Hampton East. His team took the BFR concept from raw dirt to completion of Phase I of the Hampton East project, which now has both Phase II and Phase III in construction. Since this success, he has been enthusiastic about the high potential for growth and acceptability of this product. He has been a leader in this growing industry and is passionate about being able to recognize and capitalize on the emerging markets for single story apartments.

Dean has been a part of the commercial real estate industry in Arizona since 1985, investing in the industrial and commercial markets. His entire professional career has been fueled by his self-motivation and drive to protect clients and investors. Formerly the Managing Director at Grubb & Ellis, he additionally has 20 years of experience operating his own private equity companies. He holds an Arizona real estate brokers license.

Outside of work, Dean enjoys his family, racing showroom stock cars for Mazda Motorsports and fly fishing the Snake River in Idaho.
